On Saturday 25 October 2025 the Albany Secondary Education Support Centre is holding a fundraising gala at Retravision Stadium in Albany. Expect tapas, live music from a variety of local performers and an auction full of donated goodies including art, student creations and other generous contributions — sorry, that last phrasing almost sounded like an ad, but really it's just a facts-and-fun night. Think small plates, good tunes and bidding wars that are mostly polite.

ASESC is the only secondary school in the Great Southern region dedicated to students with additional needs, providing education and care for young people with a range of diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, intellectual disabilities, PTSD and other complex conditions. The event is a relaxed evening to gather in the community and support the school in practical ways. Cost $25. When Saturday 25 October 2025, 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM.
