Fancy a dig into your family history without getting lost in the labyrinth of dusty archives? Swing by the to see how the State Library of Western Australia's Storylines project can be your new best mate when it comes to tracing your kinship. They've got an impressive stash of heritage goodies like photos that you can actually print (yes, real paper), plus a growing collection of oral histories, documents, sounds and even movies. Think of it as your personal time machine, minus the confusing flux capacitor.

This is a free, no-fuss gathering where you can poke around all these treasures with a bit of guidance and maybe a few laughs. You just need to register through Bookable if you want to secure your seat. So if your curiosity is tingling or you just want to see what the fuss is about, the Albany Public Library will be the place to be on 10 July from 5 to 6.30 pm.
