Come unwind after a long day and join us for a cozy evening where you can sip a drink and munch on some snacks while listening to Cate Kennedy and local author Jon Doust engage in a delightful chat about all things writing and her impressive body of work. Cate has a treasure trove of literary gems under her belt, including two collections of short tales, a full-length novel, a travel memoir that might make you want to pack your bags, and three collections of poetry that could evoke a tear or two, perhaps even from the toughest of souls.

With a love for the intricate twists and turns of narrative prose and the unexpected delights of poetry, Cate isn't just a writer; she's also a trained brainiac, having wrapped up her PhD in Creative Writing in 2021. So come along, take a break from your usual Wednesday night routine, and enjoy an hour of literary banter with us. Just remember, it's free, but you will need to book a spot, or you might end up standing in the back with no snacks.
