Eric Bogle, the genius behind the legendary tune 'The Band Played Waltzing Matilda', is preparing for his Farewell Tour. But let's clear the air – he's no one-hit wonder. The bloke has had his work covered by a galaxy of talent, including Joan Baez, Mary Black, Donovan, and the Pogues. You know a song is good when it piques the interest of that many legends, right?

Although Eric has decided to hang up his touring boots overseas – because let's be honest, jet lag isn't what it used to be – he's still up for the occasional gig here in Australia. He plans to keep strumming his guitar in the land down under until at least 2045, when, fingers crossed, someone will gently pull the plug. So, if you fancy an evening with a folk legend, grab your tickets, kick back, and enjoy the melodies before he finally turns off the lights for good.

Tickets are priced at $79 for adults, and a sweet $69 for pensioners, seniors, or anyone rocking a Health Care Card.
