Im an artist utterly hooked on the Great Southern landscapes around here, where the farmland rolls like its had one too many beers into jagged coastlines, and those old forests casually fade into wide open plains without a fuss. This exhibition tries to pin down what makes it all tick, from the light that changes its mind every five minutes, to the sneaky colours hiding in the trees, those granite boulders that have been lounging around since the dinosaurs were late for breakfast, and the endless sandy beaches that make you wonder why anyone bothers with city beaches at all.

Its free, no need to book or anything dramatic like that. Running from Friday 13 March 2026 to Tuesday 31 March 2026, open Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm, Saturday 10am to 2pm, and closed Sundays. Pop into Vancouver Arts Centre at 85 Vancouver Street, Albany WA 6330 Australia.
