Lifeline WA, in cahoots with Rio Tinto, is rolling out a workshop for our wonderful Albany community to dive into the delightful world of mental health. Swing by the Albany library for a few hours of lively discussion where we'll debunk some of those mental illness myths that just won't quit. Plus, we'll help you spot the various support options out there, making sure you're armed with the right tools to tackle life's ups and downs. And don't worry, there will be some light snacks to keep the brain fuelled—because who wants to think on an empty stomach?
Just a heads up, this event is strictly for the grown-ups, so make sure you're 18 or over to join in on the fun. It's a free gig, but space is as limited as a good wi-fi signal in rural areas, so you'll need to register to snag your spot. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, 20th November 2024, at 5:00pm, and come to the Albany Public Library at 221 York Street, Albany WA 6330. See you there for some mental health magic and maybe a cheeky biscuit or two.
