Since its dramatic debut centuries ago, the novel has been on a wild ride, changing outfits more times than a flamboyant stage performer. With styles and genres flitting in and out of vogue, and countless publishing fads coming and going, you might wonder where the good ol' novel fits in the grand scheme of things.

Join us for a panel discussion that promises to be as engaging as your favourite read while still leaving time for a cup of tea. Our stellar lineup includes Rumaan Alam, Robbie Arnott, Samantha Harvey, and Torrey Peters, all hosted by the ever-witty Kate Evans from ABC Radio National's The Bookshelf. They'll chew the fat on everything from contemporary relevance to the ways their unique creations blend into the literary tapestry.
