Come join us for a leisurely stroll through one of Albany's jaw-droppingly beautiful historic gardens at Sherwood Cottage, where the blooms are as vibrant as the tales you'll hear. This charming cottage once housed Miss Evelyn Weston, the State's very first female herd tester—because even in the past, women were breaking the mould while raising cows. As you meander through the grounds, keep your eyes peeled; there are plenty of hidden gems waiting to be found.

Malcolm Traill from the Museum of the Great Southern and our delightful hosts, Dave and Helen, will be on hand to sprinkle in some quirky history between the flowers. It's the perfect way to spend your Tuesday morning—just bring yourself and maybe a few coins to toss in the donation bowl. The event kicks off at 10.30 am, so make sure you set your alarm and arrive at the lovely Sherwood Cottage in Willyung, WA, ready for a morning filled with greenery and gossip from the garden.
