Get ready to roll out the red carpet for the Wellington and Reeves Albany Sportsperson of the Year Awards, where we gather to pat some backs and hand out a few trophies. We're recognizing the sports stars who've shown exceptional skill and dedication in various categories, including the Retravision Junior Sportsperson of the Year, Castlehow Senior Sportsperson of the Year, Sound Life Veteran Sportsperson of the Year, and of course, the grand title of Wellington & Reeves Albany Sportsperson of the Year.

Do you know a budding superstar, or maybe a seasoned pro whose sports achievements deserve a little spotlight? If so, now's your chance to give them a shout-out. Just make sure to submit their nominations before Friday, 28 February 2025, because the awards bash is happening at Retravision Stadium on Thursday, 3 April 2025. It should be a night of celebration—complete with food, fun, and perhaps a few awkward dance moves. Just don't forget, it's a free event, so you really have no excuse to miss out.
