The Albany crew is gathering for the usual Remembrance Day nod on Tuesday, 11th November 2025, kicking off at 10:15am in the York Street precinct, which will be traffic-free from 10am to 11:30am so everyone can stroll in without dodging cars. It's all about marking the end of WWI hostilities and tipping the hat to the more than 102,000 Australians who didn't make it back from various wars, a solemn bit of reflection amid the spring breeze.

Afterwards, wander over to the RSL around midday for a casual public shindig with some tucker, bevvies, and a raffle doling out goodies from nearby shops, because nothing says remembrance like a chance at free stuff. It's on the house, no charge for showing up.
