If you have ever wondered what Lake Seppings gets up to once the sun clocks off, this is your chance to find out. We are heading out after dark on Wednesday 15 July 2026 from 6:30pm to 8pm to see and hear the local wildlife shake off their daytime shyness. Meet us at the carpark off Golflinks Road, the one that leads into Tjuirtgellong Lake Seppings, and please bring a torch because stumbling around in the dark is only fun for the first five minutes. Also wear something that does not mind a puddle and keeps you warm, because winter nights in Albany have a habit of reminding you who is boss.

This walk is free but you need to book a spot, and it suits anyone aged five and up so you can bring the kids as long as they are ready for a bit of adventure. The whole thing runs until 8pm sharp, so you will be home in time for a cup of tea and a good complain about the cold. Just turn up at the Lake Seppings carpark entry, torch in hand, and let nature do its thing.
