Bored of the usual Tuesday night scroll? Head to Six Degrees for Albany Sea Shanty Night, where a room full of folks turns into a heaving chorus of old sailor tunes. No instruments, just voices, stomping feet and that infectious crowd vibe keeping the rhythm alive. Free entry, naturally.

These shanties started life as working songs for salty sea dogs hauling ropes and dodging storms, all built on simple repetition and cheeky call-and-response. Think less polished concert, more rowdy pub takeover where everyone joins in, no audition required. Kicks off at 7:30pm on Tuesday 21 April 2026, wrapping by 9:00pm at 70 Stirling Terrace, Albany WA 6330.
