Word has it that the library staff are taking storytime for a dip. On Tuesday 29 July, between 12:30pm and 1:00pm, the Albany Leisure and Aquatic Centre will host Splish Splash Storytime, an event where babies and toddlers aged zero to four can be in the pool while rhymes and stories are shared. It's presumably for getting the little ankle biters acquainted with the water, rather than just the quiet contemplation of a good book.

This particular wet and wild literary outing is free, but you will need to register beforehand to secure a spot. You will find it all happening at the Albany Leisure and Aquatic Centre on Barker Road, Centennial Park.
