Last year at the Maritime Festival, we launched our St Ayles Skiffs project, and those six skiffs from around WA had quite the following along the Boatshed foreshore. This time around, we're thrilled to showcase not one, but two sparkling new skiffs, ready to hit the water and bring smiles to the fine folks of Albany. The boats are built, the excitement is in the air, and we're eager to have everyone, regardless of age or fitness level, hop on board for some good old-fashioned rowing fun.

Wherever these boats have made their debut across WA, community rowing groups have paddled their way into existence—whether it's seniors enjoying a leisurely row, women bonding over oars, men getting their row on, or mixed groups sharing a laugh or two. And what's a morning on the water without some good company? After the rowing, you can kick back with a cuppa and enjoy some light-hearted banter. So, come down to the Albany Boatshed and join the fun, no bookings necessary, just bring your sense of humour and a love for the water.
